  Chapter ８ Introduction and Outcomes Welcome to Chapter 8!  Introduction First, I would like to  introduce you to a new paradigm of conjugation called the “Short Forms"  Our focus will be on: Verb Short Forms (present tense), affirmative and negative.（食べる→食べない；よむ→よまない；くる→こない；する→しない） Adjectives and noun Short Forms (present tense), affirmative and negative. （かわいい→かわいくない；しずかだ→しずかじゃない；学生だ→学生じゃない） How to use Short Forms to make : casual conversations. Purpose The purpose of this project is to give you practice in writing and speaking skills and to see how much you've learned over the semester.  Instruction In this semester, though out the chapters, you've learned many vocabulary, kanji and grammar includes more complex subordinate phrases and clauses.
