    Purpose

    The purpose of this assignment is to give you practice in writing skills.

    Instruction

    Write about your hometown（ 私の町) or your future dream (私のゆめ), applying the grammar skills you learned in this chapter. For this writing practice, please read page 269 A or C in the textbook, and use the passage as a model ( write 7 sentences, or more.)

      Chapter ８ Introduction and Outcomes Welcome to Chapter 8!  Introduction First, I would like to  introduce you to a new paradigm of conjugation called the “Short Forms"  Our focus will be on: Verb Short Forms (present tense), affirmative and negative.（食べる→食べない；よむ→よまない；くる→こない；する→しない） Adjectives and noun Short Forms (present tense), affirmative and negative. （かわいい→かわいくない；しずかだ→しずかじゃない；学生だ→学生じゃない） How to use Short Forms to make : casual conversations.
